Connecting to the Beta Layout Flow controller simply with screen:

screen -L /dev/ttyUSB0

The '-L' argument saves the session to a logfile. If screen exits without error, you may need to be root

Boards (tested with PCBway boards) do start to smell, and the areas without copper turn darker (not black yet)
